The Band i work with (When Thieves Are About) are looking for a drummer. We need someone who is willing and able to tour. Must live in North NJ and have there own drum set & is willing to chip in for studio time and insurance for the van. We have a few tours coming up and we need someone asap!

Fall/Winter 2011 Updates!!
Hey guys, this is Ryan here. I’m actually sitting in the tour bus right now outside my tiny apartment and enjoying a little solitude. I figured it’s been a little while since the last update and I suppose you’re entitled if you’re really that interested. These tend to become lengthy. Sorry. The summer seems like it went kinda fast, but we did make some good steps. We’re feeling more confident I think about our live performance, and we did play a lot of shows. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially the big Senses Fail show in Vineland. We went out of state longer than we have ever been, and while not all of it went as great as we were hoping, we still had an awesome time and met some pretty awesome kids. Where are we going from here? That’s what I’m here to tell you. We’re actually really stoked to say that we’re FINALLY recording some new songs. It’s only 3 or 4 songs for now, but we really wanna get some new music out there. We’re also really confident you guys are gonna enjoy them. We’ve done some test recordings from our home studio and tomorrow we’re going in to lay down drums and bass (if everything goes according to schedule). For now, they’re gonna just be handed out as burned CDs at shows for free, but we would like to eventually press this one. I worked really hard on the artwork, and for now I think we’re going with the title Our Distance is All We Have. The EP will be released October 16th at the Comeback Kid/The Chariot/This is Hell show in Vineland, NJ’s Hangar 84. We’re also selling tickets for this show, so even though it’s a hike, please help us out, come see us play with some of our favorite bands, and grab the new EP! Tickets are 15 dollars. Hit us up if you want one, we’re required to sell a minimum and could use all the help we can get. Other than that, we’re looking to do a couple weekend warriors, one of which will be in Maine, and another one somewhere south so we can push this EP. The Maine weekend we’re hoping to do with one of our other favorite bands, which I won’t reveal until it’s confirmed, but it’ll be the last weekend of October if it goes down. The other weekend we’re shooting for will be the last weekend in November and we’ll be taking another band with us. That’s about as far as we are looking as of now. Hopefully that wasn’t too boring. I was a little bored writing it. Well, it’s hot in here. I’m gonna go inside and catch some Z’s before I have to spend 5 hours recording and 8 more hours at my miserable job. Ryan
